Historic image what was the Industrial Exposition Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota, along with the Mississippi River and a portion of the 3rd Avenue bridge. Built in 1886, this historic building hosted the 1892 Republican Convention. By 1939, when this picture was taken, the building was vacant, last used as a warehouse for a mail-order merchandising company. The building was demolished in 1940 and a Coca Cola bottling plant sat in its place until the 1980's when IT was torn down. Condominiums now stand on this site.
