Great Northern Depot, Cokato, Minnesota, 1918 Postcard Reproduction
Very nice historic image of the Great Northern Railroad Depot in Cokato, Minnesota, from 1918. This depot was built in 1912 replacing a smaller building serving passengers until 1960 and freight until 1974 when it was closed. In 1985 this building was moved to Dassel, Minnesota where it became a railroad museum. Today this building still stands in Dassel as an art gallery.
Cokato is a city in Wright County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,694 at the 2010 census.
A bit of history, fantastic for dropping friends or family a note the old-fashioned way, and makes a great gift! This is a reproduction of the original 1918 postcard. Postcard image from LakesnWoods.com.
